I have always loved ballet. Like every little girl I took ballet in school, then when I became a cool teenager (ha!) I stopped for awhile. But like an old flame, it always called back to me, and soon after high school, I went back to it. When I moved to Hawaii, I danced with Hawaii State Ballet and loved every minute. Through life, ballet has always been a part of me, sometimes closer than other times, but never too far away. My friend Marie has a similar love affair with ballet. She asked if I would do some ballet portraits for her. Of course I would love to. And so, these are just a few simple photos of her journey.
