A Day in Guadeloupe, Part 2

Guadeloupe was such a lovely surprise for me. Although they are in the Caribbean, they are part of France. France!! As in I got a stamp in my passport saying I had entered France, and I changed my money into euros. I mean, I knew it was a french speaking island, but somehow, I didn’t expect to actually be an extension of France!! It was a pretty wonderful week. It basically felt like being in a tropical, island version of Europe. : )
