Attending a workshop with Jose Villa might be one of the highlights of a film photography career. Jose is someone who’s work and reputation precedes him. His photographs are all over magazines, blogs, fashion editorials, covers. I had the chance to attend one of his workshops in Mexico, and I was going!! Literally, there was nothing that could change my mind. In real life, Jose is an incredibly kind, gentle, human being, and an incredible teacher. I learned more than I could possibly imagine that week! I only hope that in the coming years, I’ll be able to apply what I’ve learned and do things with photography that I hadn’t thought possible before!
