The Tree of Life might be one of the most famous oak trees in New Orleans. Its a gorgeous, sprawling oak tree behind the Audubon Zoo, with branches that reach the grass, and giant knobby roots. Kids play under it in the summers, and climb all over it. I especially love weddings at the Tree of Life. They’re always intimate ceremonies, under the shade of this massive oak. Kat and Kyle’s wedding was no different. They had a beautiful ceremony here, followed by a sit down dinner upstairs at Coquette.
